EARLY DISNEY
Alice's Egg Plant, 1925:
This frame from a very early Walt Disney cartoon when he founded Disney Brothers Studio in Hollywood. His first animation studio was called Laugh-O-Grams and was located in Kansas City. Ub Iwerks was his partner and chief animator. In January, 1924 Walt rented a lot at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Rodney Drive for $10 a month for live-action filming of children for the Alice Comedies.
